SFV OG is short for San Fernando Valley OG. This cut of OG Kush is not the same as SFV OG Kush which is the seed version and crossed with an Afghani male. That one was made by Swerve from Cali Connection. It is a great cross but as a true OG lover I wanted the original cut. Finally found her and really looking forward to growing her out.
Not to be confused with SFV OG Kush, one of SFV OG’s many children, SFV OG is an OG Kush phenotype known for lighter, more sativa-like highs and qualities, such as brighter color and more citrus and diesel flavors. https://www.westword.com/marijuana/san-fernando-valley-og-why-coloradans-love-this-strain-9538016
SFV OG Clone Week One
This clone was raised in tissue culture and arrived in a plug with no visible roots showing. The top was about 6″ and very healthy looking. She was placed in a growstones and coco chow mix. I turned my back on her for a few days and she doubled in size and started growing side branches. So far I am really impressed with the vigor she is showing.
Being fed with New Millenium nutrients at 500 ppm and pH 6.0. I am running Summer Shift and Equinox as the base and Lightning Start additive which helps bring up the branches. Lighting is a PLC 250 3500k COB LED.

So this is my test run of the SFV clone just before harvest. She is a nice plant but personally most of these older strains are not anywhere near as frosty as a lot of new strains.
One thing you almost never know for sure is if you really have the real clone. There is so much mislabeling and renaming that it can never be certain you have the real deal, I probably wont give this girl another run.
After harvesting her she was good but good is not good enough. I am a small grower. Not in height but in available space so I can only keep the best of the best and unfortunately this SFV did not make the cut.
